Don't Panic is a breathing exercise app designed to help you relax and focus. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
Data We Collect
None. Don't Panic does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. The app has no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising.
On-Device Data
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
- Notes & Tips — Any notes you create are saved as a JSON file in the app's sandboxed storage. They never leave your device.
- Settings — Your preferences (breathing method, repetition count, sound toggle) are stored locally.
Apple Health (HealthKit)
If you grant permission, Don't Panic writes your completed breathing sessions to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes. The app does not read any data from Apple Health. This data is managed entirely by Apple's Health app and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Notifications
The app may request permission to send local notifications for session completion and wind-down reminders. These are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external service.
Third-Party Services
Don't Panic uses no third-party SDKs, libraries, or services. It is built entirely with Apple's native frameworks. No data is shared with any third party.
Children's Privacy
The app does not knowingly collect any information from children. Since no personal data is collected from anyone, the app is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
